The Micro 100 16R733 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute, right hand thread mill made of solid carbide. It has a TiAlN coating and can cut a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastics and composites. It has a 1/4" shank and is designed for high speed machining with speeds up to 21,000 RPM. The thread mill can produce right hand threads from 24 to 80 threads per inch in a variety of thread forms including UN, ACME and worm threads. It is manufactured in the USA by Micro 100 Tool Corporation.
Grainger Spotting Drill Bit Carbide 3/4
The Grainger Approved Spotting Drill Bit is a carbide tipped drill bit designed for spotting holes prior to drilling in metal. It has a 118 degree split point tip to help prevent walking and has an overall length of 2-1/2". The shank diameter is 1/4" and the drill diameter is #7. This is a high speed steel bit with cobalt added for increased hardness. It can drill through materials like steel, iron, aluminum and more. The Grainger item number for this product is 16R648. This spotting drill bit would be useful for creating pilot holes when drilling metal to increase accuracy and prevent walking.
Grainger End Mill Kyocera MEC 24S2011T 24mm
The Kyocera 170HF9 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high feed end mill made of micrograin carbide with TiAlN coating. It has a 1-1/2" LOC and can be run at speeds up to 500 SFM. The end mill features variable helix flutes to reduce harmonics and chatter and is designed for high feed milling in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. It has a tolerance of +/- .0005" and achieves surface finishes to 32 microinch Ra. The end mill is made in Japan.
